I remember listening to Game 4 of the 2004 World Series on a walkman while riding back to Middlebury on the team bus after a soccer game in New Hampshire. I had to keep scanning the stations to find radio broadcasts that weren't all static, and kept updating the rest of the bus on the score. I got back to campus and met up with my buddy Dan (hardcore Sox fan) in the 8th inning, then we watched Foulke close it out. Later that night we were drinking champagne outside our dorm and a Middlebury Public Safety officer walked up to us and said, "No alcohol here, right? Congrats on the Sox. Have a good night", and walked away.

@Zach - no problem and you're so right...highlight videos do last forever....thank goodness.

@Dad - I don't know who that is, but Lonnie Paxton is a good guess! (Grant). It is great to hear Summerall doing the play-by-play...although he does make a mistake, saying that Adam V missed the field goal before the game, when he actually hit it!

@Grant - we were...had a meet a middlebury that night in that snow storm and we were watching it on Ellman's tiny antenna TV. Awesome night.

Lonnie Paxton?

Awesome video - were we coming home from a meet during this game? I seem to remember being on a bus for one of the playoff games that year.

A great clip. I ended up buying the DVD of this entire game and still watch it. Great to hear Summerall's play by play. BTW, which Pat player does the "snow angel" routine in the endzone at the conclusion of the game?

Thanks for the shout-out! Always good to remember better times. Team quality and wins will come and go, but highlight videos last forever.
